Now that the warm weather is a upon us , we start to wander around again one thing about this time of year is water and the need to clean it with the snow melts and streams running over the banks water often looks muddy and unfit to drink by taking some bandannas and tieing them to a tripod (3 poles cut to about 3 feet in length and tied at the top )by tieing bandannas at three differnet levels we can filter muddy water through them in to a container or canteen making the water clear then at this point water can be treated with iodine tablets or boiled to make water safe to drink. We will be making a tripod on the 26th of April's spring meet up for all who want to see how this is done it is also a great way to melt snow and ice into drinkable water as well.
